When you sign in
You sign in to Ring of Creation through our sign-in service at auth.ringofcreation.com, run for us by Auth0 (Okta), with your Google account or with a code we email you. From Google we receive only your name, your email address and your profile picture. We use them to create your account, recognise you when you come back and write to you about your account and your purchases. The sign-in service keeps a session cookie on auth.ringofcreation.com so you stay signed in; it is needed for the sign-in to work and is not used for anything else.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising or use it to train AI models. Our use of the information we receive from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
When you buy
Stripe processes the payment. We receive your email, name, the payment state and, if you give them, your tax number and address for the invoice. We use them to deliver the book, issue the invoice, handle refunds and send you your invitation.
Who helps us
Cloudflare hosts this site, Auth0 (Okta) runs the sign-in, Brevo sends our emails and Stripe takes the payments. Each one handles your data only to provide that service to us.
How long
Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as Portuguese tax law requires. Your account is kept until you ask us to delete it. Everything else is deleted when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, including your account and what we received from Google, or object to its use: write to us through the contact form, with the topic "Privacy and my data". You can also complain to the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
